Welcome to St. Martin de Porres Parish in Gentilly. Our parish community welcomes you and invites you to worship with us!
Prayer to St. Martin de Porres:
Most glorious Martin de Porres, whose burning charity embraced not only thy needy brethren, but also the very animals of the field, splendid example of charity, we hail thee & invoke thee! From that high throne which thou dost occupy, deign to listen to the supplications of thy needy brethren that, by imitating thy virtues, we may live contented in that state in which God has placed us & carrying with strength & courage our cross, we may follow in the footsteps of Our Blessed Redeemer and His most afflicted Mother, that at last we may reach the Kingdom of Heaven through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen

Office is closed on holidaysDear Parishioners,
It has been wonderful serving you as your pastor since the inception of our new parish, St Martin de Porres. We have made giant strides in many ways and different aspects of parish life. We are growing steadily spiritually, building this One Eucharistic Family, and keeping Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament at the center of all that we do. The rate of response I get whenever I ask people to step up to do something is mind-blowing. It shows the extent of your love and commitment to God, to Jesus Christ, and the Church.
May inform you that our Adoration Chapel has become a special sacred space for prayer and quiet time with the Lord – Thanks to many of you who have committed to spending time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration is BEAUTIFUL. Many of you also signed up to take part in the Rosary Congress with 24/7 prayer adoration/prayer in our parish. That was so amazing. Our neighborhood outdoor Rosary is also witnessing and good turnout. Indeed, all these give me. I am truly energized by your faith and commitment to the Lord. It is a testimony that we are not here for anybody, but for Him who called us to himself.
